Timothy V. Bartholomew (NETL) is a Process Systems Engineer at the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory where he leads the development of the Water treatment Technoeconomic Assessment Platform (WaterTAP). WaterTAP is an open-source library of water treatment models that builds off the IDAES platform, which enables the simulation and optimization of water treatment trains. Tim holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
