Marcus A. Holly

Marcus A. Holly (NETL) joined the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) as an intern in 2021 and has since transitioned to full-time employment in 2022. Currently, he is a developer on the Process Systems Engineering Research Team (PSERT), where he contributes to the Institute for the Design of Advanced Energy Systems (IDAES), Process Optimization and Modeling for Minerals Sustainability (PrOMMiS), Design Integration and Synthesis Platform to Advance Tightly Coupled Hybrid Energy Systems (DISPATCHES), and the Water Treatment Technoeconomic Assessment Platform (WaterTAP) efforts. His current work focuses on developing process unit and property models, modelling steady-state flowsheets, and performing technoeconomic assessments of various wastewater treatment technologies. Marcus earned his BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2022.
